“Biola University is delighted to partner with Chosen People Ministries to strengthen the Feinberg Center in its mission to educate a new generation of Jewish-Christian believers to proclaim the good news of the Gospel. What a fitting way to honor Charles Feinberg, the founding dean of Biola University’s Talbot School of Theology, who had a lifelong passion for sharing Christ with the Jewish people. I affirm the Feinberg Center in its commitment to educate future leaders, educators and pastors in Messianic congregations. There is no program in higher education quite like the Feinberg Center.”
I am both encouraged and excited by the profound ministry we now have in shaping the lives of new missionaries to Jewish people through the Charles L. Feinberg Center degree in Messianic Jewish Studies in partnership with Biola University’s Talbot School of Theology.
This dynamic program began in 2007 when Chosen People Ministries initiated a partnership with Talbot. The physical, on-site component of the Charles L. Feinberg Center is located in the heart of Orthodox Jewish Brooklyn. The courses are also available for remote learning, and we have students taking classes from Australia, Korea, England, and many cities throughout North America.
The Feinberg program is designed to train missionaries, congregational leaders, and workers dedicated to proclaiming the gospel among Jewish people in various ways. We seek those called to bring the gospel to Jewish people vocationally but also some who serve as lay leaders of Messianic congregations and evangelical churches with a heart for Jewish evangelism. Through this program, we have already launched thirty-seven devoted men and women into ministry among God’s chosen people. I am so encouraged as I look at the faithful work of our graduates worldwide.
Biola University and Chosen People Ministries offer generous subsidies to our students, making tuition affordable. We want to help you graduate with little or no debt and enter vocational ministry as God leads. We prefer smaller classes, enabling our professors to give students the attention they deserve. We are just as interested in character development and skill training as we are in passing along the many years of knowledge and experience our professors have, as all have served or continue to serve as ministers to Jewish people.
The Feinberg program is unique because of its specific focus on reaching the Jewish community with the gospel. Its location in Brooklyn and the reach of our global ministry staff give students opportunities to put their training into practice right away. All our professors are academically well-trained, but all are also deeply involved in ministry and draw on their experience to guide students. I highly commend the Feinberg Center to anyone who feels called to vocational gospel ministry among Jewish people or is serving in the business world or some other type of vocation but is passionate about reaching Jewish people with the gospel.
