The following answers to frequently asked questions are intended to provide clarity in the midst of uncertainty and the shifting plans for the Fall 2021 semester as we respond to the challenges caused by the virus. We will continue to provide updates and revisions to these plans throughout the semester as they become available, so be sure to check regularly.

When will students return to Brooklyn?
- Classes will begin on September 8, 2021.
- These courses will be implemented through in-person and synchronous online teaching using the Canvas Learning Management System. Instructions will be provided for those who are not familiar with this learning platform.
What educational options are available to students?
- Classes will be held synchronously online and in person for those students in the Brooklyn area.
- Online Courses
- Synchronous courses require students to attend regularly scheduled meetings during the semester via Zoom.
- In-Person Classes
- Students in Brooklyn and the surrounding areas may attend classes at the Feinberg Center under COVID-19 protocols.
- Field Education
- Requirements for Field Education will be adjusted according to the ability of students to serve in various forms of ministry.
- Online Courses
Will the semester schedule change?

The semester will start on September 8, 2021 and end December 16, 2021 in accordance with the Biola campus schedule.
- There will be no break for Fall ministry tours.
What about International Students?
International students may return to the Brooklyn Center for the Fall semester.
